A MAC address (Media Access Control Address) is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on the physical network segment. Every computer device have different MAC address. The Media Access Control address is a built-in every computer device when it is created. When computer starts, operation system reads from hardware device. When you are connected to the wireless network, it sends packets to you and then your computer converts these information to websites, movies, images Imagine that two computers are connected to the wireless network, first computer wants website google.com, and the second computer wants amazon.com, network sends packets to these computers, but how do these computers know what packets ignore and what packets to receive?

Read:- DNS

mac

Computers identify packets to receive or ignore by Media Access Control address, when the network is sending packet to computer, it also writes in packet the Media Access Control address of the computer it is sending. that is the way how wireless networks and computers are connecting each other. So, if you do not change your ip and hack someone wireless network, you let them to investigate your identify by analyzing network history.

How to hide Media Access Control address ?

You may think that how you can change Media Access Control address if computer reads it from hardware? You are not going to make modification on hardware, you going to change RAM. When the computer starts, MAC address loads in RAM and we going to change already loaded Media Access Control address.. So, when you change your MAC address police will find your fake MAC address and they will not be able to trace hacker. Now you have basic information about what is MAC address, dangers of hacking without changing MAC address, how police can trace you, how we can change it. Change MAC address by Kali Kali has already installed program called “macchanger” which lets us to change loaded MAC address in RAM. Open VirtualBox, start kali virtual machine and open terminal. We need to stop our wireless card to change the MAC address. Type in “ifconfig wlan0 down”.

The ifconfig is a program, wlan0 is our wireless card and the down is action what we want to do. So, this command will stop every wireless service and it is nessesary to stop network card before changing the Media Access Control address. Then type in the following command “macchanger –help”. This command tells Kali to call macchanger and show help. There is program usage instructions. In my case, I will use random MAC address by entering “macchanger –random wlan0”.macchanger is program name –random is an option and wlan0 is wireless card.

If everything is correct the screen should look like this:-

mac

It shows you what was the permanent (built-in in network card) MAC address and its corporation in brackets, and down it shows that there is a new MAC address which does not have corporation. So, now we already changed the mac address and we need to hack into anyone network. But you are not ready for that now, because you do not know what is monitor mode and how to use it. In the next chapter you will learn what monitor mode is and how to use it with Kali.

Computer systems are made up of a number of different hardware components means computer parts such as a central processor (CPU), memory (RAM), storage space (HDD) and so on. This is called internal hardware and usually plugs into a main board called a motherboard. Devices that sit outside the case are called peripherals and can include printers, scanners, keyboards, mice, cameras and so on. There is also removable storage such as memory cards, USB sticks and external hard drives that are designed to be portable.

computer parts

Lets start by taking a look at internal hardware. there is lots of wire of computer parts like USB, Ethernet, Fire Wire, Thunderbolt, eSATA, DVI, HDMI, VGA, Component Video, Composite Video, 1/8” (3.5mm) Phono Jack, 1/4” (6.35mm) Phono Jack, 3 Pin XLR, RCA Audio, S/PDIF Optical Audio.

USB

USB stands for Universal Serial Bus and is a universal connection used to connect all different types of peripherals to your computer as easy as possible using the same connection type. USB 3.0, shown below left, was released on 12 November 2008, with a data rate of around 4 Gbps and is much faster than USB 2.0. USB 2.0, shown below right, was released in April 2000, with a maximum data rate of 480 Mbps.

USB 3.0 ports are color coded in blue, while USB 2.0 ports are color coded in black. The smaller USB pictured below left is called micro USB and the one next to it is called mini USB.

computer parts

Ethernet

Also known as RJ45, Ethernet is used to connect a computer or laptop to a network and to the internet.

computer parts

FireWire

Also known as IEEE 1394 or iLink, this port was widely used in digital camcorders and most of them that recorded onto tape included a firewire interface . There were two versions; Firewire 400 (on the left) and Firewire 800 (on the right).

computer parts

FireWire 400 transfers data at about 400Mbps, Firewire 800 transfers data at about 800Mbps

ThunderBolt

Thunderbolt ports are used for peripherals that require extremely fast data transfers and have been known to support speeds of up to 10Gbps.

computer parts

This port is also used on Apple Mac computers as a mini display port for connecting to monitors and projectors.

eSATA

eSATA cables connect to some types of high speed external portable hard drives. The eSATA cable cannot transmit power, unless you use eSATAp (powered eSATA).

computer parts

DVI

Digital Video Interface is a video display interface used to connect a video source (Example :- your computer) to a display device, such as an HD ready TV, computer monitor or projector.

computer parts

DVI can get a bit confusing, as there are a number of different connectors. Here is a summary

computer parts

HDMI

High Definition Media Interface, is a combined audio/video interface for carrying video and audio data from a High Definition device such as a games console or computer to a high end computer monitor, video projector, or High Definition digital television. Pictured below is Standard HDMI & Micro HDMI.

computer parts

VGA

Video Graphics Array is a 15-pin connector found on many computers and laptops and is used to connect to projectors, computer monitors and LCD television sets.

computer parts

Component Video

Carries a video signal (no audio) that has been split into three component channels. It is often used to connect high end dvd players to televisions.

computer parts

Composite Video

Carries an analogue standard definition video signal (with no audio) used in old games consoles or analogue video cameras.

1/8” (3.5mm) Phono Jack

The phono jack also known as an audio jack, headphone jack or jack plug, is commonly used to connect speakers or headphones to a computer, laptop, tablet or MP3 player and carries analogue audio signals.

computer parts

1/4” (6.35mm) Phono Jack

These are generally used on a wide range of professional audio equipment. 6.35 mm (1⁄4 in) plugs are common on audio recorders, musical instruments such as guitars and amps.

3 Pin XLR

The XLR connector is usually found on professional audio, video, and stage lighting equipment. Many audio mixing desks have XLR connectors to connect stage mics.

RCA Audio

Some home audio system, televisions and DVD players use RCA cables to connect to audio receivers, amplifiers and speakers.

computer parts

S/PDIF Optical Audio

Also known as TosLink, these are for high end amplifiers and home cinema systems and make use of fibre optic cables to carry the audio data from a DVD player or computer system.

Bios:- Locating the BIOS chip on the system board is easy. it is usually rectangular in shape and generally features the manufacturer’s name as a label on the chip. Some of the popular manufacturers are AMI, AWARD, and IBM. The Basic Input Output System (BIOS) is the low-level program code that allows all the system devices to communicate with one another. This low-level program code is stored in the BIOS chip on the motherboard. The BIOS chip is a ROM (read only memory) chip, which means that you can read information from the chip, but you cannot write to the chip under normal circumstances. Today’s implementation of BIOS chips is EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM), which means that you can get special software from the manufacturer of the Basic Input Output System to write to the chip.

Read:-Sad Satanhttps://www.technicalfan.com/sad-satan/

Bios

Why would you want to erase the Bios

Suppose, for example, that your Basic Input Output System is programmed to support a hard disk up to 2GB in size, but that you want to install a new, larger hard disk instead. What can you do about it? You can contact the BIOS manufacturer and get an update for your Basic Input Output System chip, which is usually a software program 2 GB and provides instructions for dealing with them. But before new instructions can be written, the old instructions need to be erased.

The BIOS chip also contains code that controls today (in the past, you generally had to install a new chip). Running the software program writes new instructions to the Basic Input Output System to make it aware that there are hard disks bigger than the boot process for your system. It contains code that will perform a power on self test (POST), which means that the computer goes through a number of tests, checking itself out and making sure that it is okay. Once it has made it past the POST, the BIOS then locates a bootable partition and calls on the master boot record, which will load an operating system.

I hope that you understand my post. if you like this post then share my post, and comment on my post if you have any suggestion or Queries related to Basic Input Output System. Thank you!

Encryption

Simply put, encryption is the be-all and end-all security precaution. When implemented properly, encrypted files cannot be accessed through any method except through a password (called the encryption key) that unlocks the data. Think of encryption as an unbreakable box with a lock on it. Anything you put in that box will be completely secure and inaccessible to anyone except those who have the key to the lock. You can encrypt virtually whatever data you want, including your emails, your files and even the entire contents of your computer hard disk. There are a few reasons why more people don’t use encryption. One of the largest reasons is that it’s somewhat inconvenient and uncomfortable to implement and deal with on a daily basis. I keep my computers encrypted at the disk-level, which means that I can’t even get my operating system to boot up until the proper password is entered.

Read:- Port forwarding

Encryption

What is Encryption

This ensures that everything on my computer is protected and kept safe from anyone who might, for example, break in and steal my computer’s hard drive. Without the password, all of the data on the drive will stay locked up forever and be inaccessible to the thief. Another reason people don’t use encryption is because there are some groups who strongly dislike encryption and what it represents. There are strong political lobbies in various regions (including the USA, UK and beyond) that are fighting strongly against allowing encryption to continue to be available to the general public. The reason for this is simple: if everyone encrypted their data, then it would be much more difficult for governments to spy on that data. Encryption is also potentially dangerous, due to the fact that the encryption key is the only way to access the data.

If you forget the encryption’s key for something you’ve encrypted, there’s no way to access that data. In fact, until huge advances are made in computing technology, it would take longer than the life of the universe to break encryption that is implemented today. If you decide to implement encryption at any level, be aware of this fact, and know that if you forget your encryption’s key, there’s nothing that anyone can do to break the encryption. Note that this discussion about ‘unbreakable’ encryption assumes that when you encrypt something, you choose a complex password, like we discussed in an earlier chapter when talking about password managers. If you use a simple password, such as your name, a variation of the word ‘password’ or something similar, then it’s possible to quickly brute force the password.

This involves using a piece of software to quickly try millions of combinations of different letters, words and numbers to guess what weak passwords are being used to secure the encrypted data.

Note: this brute force method is also how many online accounts are compromised, which is another great reason for why you should always choose a strong password for your online accounts.

Types of Malwares

1. Virus :-  A virus is piece of code which change the traditional working or any operating system and files with respect to their extensions and make them unstable.A true virus cannot spread from one computer to another computer without human assistance.

2. Worms:- Worm is a code which needs to starts once and then it automatically travel on the network till the time it is not detected by any antivirus.

Example:- Black Out [In US half of the country goes electricity down on that day]. One student of the college made the worm and spread over the network. That worm infects the every computer connected to the networks and it travels via networks and finally it infects the power grid of USA and half of the country goes without electricity. And when that boy see the news on the TV he was shocked that what has happened. The boy only knows the coding of worm but he does not know about that how to stop that virus.

3. Trojan:- These are the RATs (Remote Accessing Tools) can be used by a criminal to infect any remote machine and control from any where in the world. Once machine is infected hacker can control that machine as it goes online.

He can see his HDD and can delete data from it, copy , edit etc

You can see the screen of the victim.

You can control the webcam of the victim.

Open any website

Types of Trojans

Direct Trojans:- These type of Trojans needs the victim IP address to connect with it. For Example: Beast V.2.0 and Sub7 and Net bus.

Reverse Trojan:- In these type of Trojans we have do not need the IP address of our infected victims on the other hand they will try to connect with our computer’s IP address as they execute the infected file.  For Example: cyber gate and dark comet

Ransom ware :- It’s a new kind of malware becoming very popular , the idea behind this ransom ware is to encrypt the entire hard drive with a very strong encryption algorithm and then force user to pay money via bit coins to remove that encryption so that they can access their data.  Below code makes the unlimited no of folders in your system until the system crashed down.

SSD (solid-state drive) is a data storage unit It is an electronic assembly of flash memories (solid semiconductor while our good old record hard (HDD) combines electronics and especially mechanical operation. The defects of the latter are friction which causes wear and noise as well as a certain fragility. An SSD is less fragile than a disk hard, the trays of the latter being most often made of glass. SSD offers more access time shorter than a conventional hard drive (130 times faster!), Their speeds can cap at 550 MB/s in reading and 500 MB / s in writing in SATA III. Electric consumption being low, the SSD is an ideal candidate for laptops, ultra portable as well than tablets. The first SSD models had the huge disadvantage of seeing his performance decrease over time.

Read:- Tax

ssd

This still exists because a slowdown can be noticed when all cells have been enrolled. Rewriting on a registered cell is a little longer compared to blank cells. Fortunately a parade exists, it is the TRIM command that exists since Windows 7. The TRIM is responsible for resetting at the following, in real time, the sectors marked “Deleted”. The performances will therefore be maximum see you next time on this cell. There are two types of flash memory: MLC (Multi level cell), the least expensive and therefore rather reserved for General public. The SLC (Single level cell), more oriented to the pro. The difference ? The MLC is less efficient and has a lower lifespan than the SLC. 10,000 against 100,000 entries erasures.

Optimizing the system for SSD I pass on the installation of the unit SSD in the tower or laptop, because it installs like a HDD in SATA. We must now get to the heart of the subject, install Windows (or others system) Before that, enter the bios (attention this is for users only warned!) to verify that the management storage units be well in AHCI, because the SSD works in mode AHCI. AHCI mode allows connections hot and high speeds among others.

Why optimize your SSD?

Simply for him to work to the maximum of its capacity and that it’s as long as possible. In the end to fully enjoy of your purchase. Don’t fall into paranoia like some believing that your SSD has a minimum lifespan! It must also be said that, by comparison, an HDD can have more easily loss problems data and case. While the SSD is more solid, and does not afraid (too much) of shocks. Besides even when a cell is “dead”, the data is always accessible. Its speed is 6 to 8 times that of a HDD. Gourmet (पेटू) software’s such as Adobe Photoshop opens at a speed more than appreciable. Work with an SSD and you don’t you will not be able to do without it! I’m done for explanations.

Performs much like a Hard Disk but is extremely fast and also extremely expensive. These drives are being used in smaller laptops/notebook computers and on some tablet computers where you don’t require large amounts of storage space. These drives can also be useful where you need fast data transfer rates, such as for video editing, playing games and recording audio/video. These can be over 2TB, however large capacities are expensive. The average size in use is about 250GB.

I hope that you understand my post. if you like this post then share my post, and comment on my post if you have any suggestion or Queries related to ssd. Thank you!

RAM stand for Random Access Memory. Initially every task is stored in RAM & then executed or stored in Hard disk. It is volatile, it stores data temporarily. So no data will remain when the power is switched off. It ranges from 64 MB to 64 GB module for consumers but 128 GB for enterprise Use. Computer memory is made up of silicon chips and is the computer’s working area. This is where software instructions and data are stored.

RAM

For example if you are typing a document in Microsoft Word, both Microsoft Word and your document are loaded into and stored in the computer’s memory while you are working on it. This is not to be confused with the Hard Disk. Usually measured in Gigabytes DRAM or Dynamic Ram needs to be constantly refreshed. SRAM or static RAM is a lot faster because it doesn’t require to be refreshed. Standard system RAM is DRAM or SDRAM. SRAM is reserved for cache memory and is mounted onto the motherboard already. To confuse things even more, RAM comes in different forms: DDR, DDR2, DDR3 and DDR4.

Read:- excel data validation list

ram

DDR and DDR2 are old now and being phased out in favor of DDR3 and DDR4. Most of the latest PCs will use DDR3 & DDR4 RAM. Notice the positions of the cut out notches along the bottom of the DIMM indicated in red on the photograph above. This is to make sure only the correct RAM fits in the slot on the motherboard. RAM speed is also measured in Megahertz (MHz) and you’ll likely see this when looking at buying RAM. Laptops have their own type of memory. It’s more or less the same except for the physical size. These memory modules are called SO-DIMMs

When buying memory, you need to find out what memory modules your computer’s motherboard takes. You should be able to find this in the documentation that came with your computer. So looking at the spec of my computer, shown below, I need a DDR4 memory module that runs at about 2133MHz.

ram

Also reading further down, I can get 4, 8,16,32 or 64GB modules. For this example I am going to add 16GB So when searching, I’ll look for something the one shown below, and make sure the module is DDR4 and runs at least 2133MHz as it said in the PCs spec above.

ram

You will also need to open the case and find out how many memory slots are available.

This one has two spare and two in use. Slide the DIMM into a vacant slot, it will only go one way, then gently push down until it clicks into place.

I hope that you understand my post. if you like this post then share my post, and comment on my post if you have any suggestion or Queries related to RAM. Thank you!

excel data validation list means Excel enables you to restrict the values a user can enter in a cell. By restricting values, you ensure that your worksheet entries are valid and that calculations based on them thereby are valid as well. During data entry, a validation list forces anyone using your worksheet to select a value from a drop-down menu rather than typing it and potentially typing the wrong information. In this way, validation lists save time and reduce errors. To create a validation list, type the values you want to include into adjacent cells in a column or row.

You may want to name the range. After you type your values, use the Data Validation dialog box to assign values to your validation list. Then copy and paste your validation list into the appropriate cells by using the Paste Special Validation option. You may want to place your validation list in an out of-the-way place on your worksheet or on a separate worksheet.

=VLOOKUP(choose that cell where you want to type name of student, sheet name then exclamation mark like this ! फिर range of data, choose that cell where you want to type name of column number of subject,0)

=VLOOKUP(B1,sheet1!C7:G11,B2,0) TYPE करे फिर आपको बार बार अलग अलग सेल में फार्मूला लिखना नहीं होगा बस अब आपको student का नाम change करना है और column नंबर देना है जिस cell में required है (note my sheet name is sheet 1 where data is existing)

vlookup excel

Read:- Search engine optimization

vlookup excel

vlookup excel Parameter list :-

Lookup_value –

table_array –

where we are going to search, it will definitely be a group of cells or table in same sheet or other sheet or other workbook.

col_index_num –

the column number in the table from which to retrieve a value.

range_lookup – [optional] TRUE =

approximate match (default). FALSE = exact match. Right now the parameters looks confusing but don’t worry once I explain using examples Vlookup using the range lookup FALSE.

vlookup excel

vlookup excel Example 1:-

इस example में आपको स्टूडेंट के किस subject में कितना अंक प्राप्त हुआ है ये पता करना है सबसे पहले मोहन का math में कितना अंक प्राप्त किया है ये पता करना है cell का रेंज C7 to G11 है means C7:G11 है name मोहन as first parameter in double quotes as we are searching a text, and second parameter we are entering the cell range C7:G11 where we are going to search. Third parameter we are specifying the column index number from the cell range C7:G11 since the starting column is C it is the first column number, D the second column number, E the third one and F the fourth one and G the fifth . And fifth parameter we are putting 0 or False to get an exact match. The point to be noted here is the cell range C7:G11 the C column (first column) must have

the value मोहन what we are searching, then only VLOOKUP will work otherwise it will give a  #N/A error.
