Most computer data output that is meant for humans is in the form of audio or video. Thus, most output devices used by humans are in these categories. Output devices allow computers to communicate with users and with other devices. This can include peripherals, which may be used for input/output (I/O) purposes, like network interface cards (NICs), modems, IR ports, RFID systems and wireless networking devices, as well as mechanical output devices, like solenoids, motors and other electromagnetically devices. output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment which converts the electronically generated information into human-readable
These are as follows:-
It is VDU (Visual Display Unit) or SDU (Standard Display Unit) commonly called as monitor and used as main output device of a computer system. It consists of a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT), which displays characters as an output. It forms images from tiny dots, called pixels that are arranged in a rectangular form. The sharpness of the image depends upon screen resolution means the number of pixels.

Liquid Crystal Display (LCD):-
It is basically consist of a layer of liquid crystal, sandwiched between two polarizing plates. The image pointing operation in LCD panels is different forms that of the CRT through both are of raster scans display type. The modern technology has gifted us with LCD panel, Plasma Display panel, LED panel and thin CRT. These display devices are smaller, lighter and specifically thinner than the conventional CRT and thus as termed as Flat Panel Display (FPD).
In plasma panel used neon gas as sandwiched between two flat plasma glasses. Research is so on to eliminate the color display limitation of such device at low production cost.
Note:- Monitor is the only a way that display the data after processing into soft mode.
The most common types of CRT display technology:
Raster Scan Display:-
In raster scan display method, the electron beam sweeps the entire screen in the same way you would write full page of text in a note book (i.e. in word pad, notepad, etc.) word-by-word or character-by-character from left to right or top to bottom.

The different kinds of monitors depending upon the number of pixels that means the resolution. It can be classified as follows:-
The printer is an most important accessories of any computer system, specially for graphics system. It is a portable device that used to convert a soft copy into hard copy that means the documents of computer is a soft copy and we made changes into it easily and its paper mode is called hard copy, so we cannot made changes easily.
The printers are divided into two major categories as follows:-
These printers have a mechanism whereby formed characters faces are pressed against an inked ribbon onto the paper in order to create an image. Example:- Dot Matrix, Daisy Wheel and Line Printer.
Dot Matrix Printer:-
It is made of separate pin hammers that strike the ribbon against the paper, in computer determined the patterns of dots. This type of printer is usually faster than solid font type, but image quality is not as good.
Dot matrix printers are also called serial printers. The head of dot matrix printer usually has 9 or 24 pins and print 50 to 400 characters per second. Example:- EPSON EX-1000, EPSON LQ-1050, etc.
These printers do not touch the paper against ink ribbon and it is use laser techniques, ink spray, xerographic processes and electro static methods to produce images on paper. Example:- Inkjet, Laser, Plotter, etc.
An inkjet printer is a non-impact printer that places extremely small droplets of ink spray onto the paper to create an image. These printers are popular because they less costly but generate attractive graphic output. It spray ink through as many as 64 tiny nozzles and it provides a print quality of around 300 dpi (Dot Per Inch).
It is stand for “Light Amplification by Simulated Emission of Radiation”. It is also non-impact printer that uses technology similar to that of a photocopy machine. A laser beam focused on a positively charged selenium-coated rotating drum. The laser gun removes the positive charge from the drum except for the area to be printed.
In this way, the laser draws the letters and images to be printed. The negatively charged black toner powder 1st adheres to this positive charge on the drum; it is transferred to the rolling white paper. The laser printer is a mainly believable printer. In case of colour laser printer, these processes repeated up to three-times.
A plotter is a specialized output device that designed to produce high quality graphics in a variety of colours. It produces pictorial output of data, which could range from simple statically histograms, pie charts, advertising banners, etc. and detailed isometric drawings could be generated using plotters.
Although other printers can be used for simple charts, yet plotters produce high quality output that is unmatched. There are two basic types of plotters those that use pens and those that do not. Drum and Flatbed potters use pens, but Electrostatic plotters do not use this.
Sound or Speaker:-
It is also an output device, which is used to listen sound that can be stored on our computer and hard drives (like CD, DVD, Pen Drive, etc). When we want to listen sound that stored on it, at first check the installation of sound driver (i.e. compatible software of sound) and speaker are connected. In order to have high quality audio output, a good quality sound card and good quality speakers are needed.
